The main port of Santorini is the Athinios port which located about 18 km from Oia. Up
on your arrival to Santorini from Athinios port you can take a taxi or the local bus. The
taxi fare start from 25 euro and the bus fare 1.8 euro. Notice that if you choice to take
the local bus it must to change two buses in order to come in Oia. The buses rout
are as follow:
1. Athinios Port (Santorini's main port) to Fira town (Capital of the island) 30
minutes with the local bus.
2. Fira town to Oia village is about 25 minutes with the local bus. |

Arrival with a plane:
Santorini has only one airport which is located on the area of
Monolithos in distance from Oia about 19 km. From the airport you up
on your arrival on the island you can take a taxi or the local bus. The
taxi fare start from 25 euro and the bus fare 1.5 euro.
The airport bus is going to leave you to the terminal bus station in Fira
(The Capital of Santorini) through this bus station you must change bus
in order to visit Oia. |
